Workshop on how to write scientific articles in English for international journals in the domain of enviromental science
Summary
The objective of this workshop is to provide capacity building in environmental and agricultural sciences with specific focus on how to write scientific articles in English for submission to international journals. Furthermore, by bringing together the researchers from Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia this workshop will also facilitate the development of a regional research network in environmental and agricultural sciences.
Note that it is NOT an English language course.
The workshop is made up of 3 phases:
(1) Presentation and discussion of the different sections of an article.
(2) Writing of a first draft of an article.
(3) Oral presentation by the participants of their articles, followed by questions from the audience.
The workshop will be held from the 30th September to 4th October, 2013 at Khon Kaen University, Thailand
